About me

My name is Viktorija Jacmenkina and I have been living my professional passion for 12 years by managing international interior projects – from furniture solutions to full realization. I studied interior design in Riga and Milan.
Creating an interior is not only multifunctional and creative, but also a psychological process, a delicate work in which you must combine your dreams with the set budget. In my opinion, it is important to design spaces that not only inspire, but also provide the necessary resources and strength to the residents. Understanding the individual, his character and desires is an integral part of my work.
However, it is even more important to understand people and their desires, so that the interior becomes a truly living and pulsating environment. It is like a work of art, where each element forms a harmonious whole.
I love the feeling that comes from realization of a great design project. What I like most about interior design is the choice of colors, because only color can create such a strong impact on design and human mood.
Project stages
The development of a design project is a complex and time-consuming process that includes various stages. Each stage of work is drawn up in a separate contract on the scope of services, costs and terms. The total cost largely depends on the area of the premises and the complexity of the object.
At the beginning of each project, the client is given a questionnaire developed by me, where the client answers various questions about the interior and its equipment.
We always start by measuring and photographing the object. And also from the meeting to discuss and answer all the client’s questions.
Based on our chosen style images, furniture and equipment, we discuss the concept of each room.
We develop the concept and style, planning, choose finishing materials and furniture, the overall style.
After approving the developed concept in accordance with the selected planning solution, we carry out detailed design development – photorealistic collage or 3D visualizations with carefully selected finishing materials, furniture and lighting.
The technical project of the work is completed after the approval of the 3D visualization. It includes all the technical drawings necessary for the design project to be realized.
Project realization: negotiations and consultations with suppliers, discussion of sketches and analysis of technical production possibilities, analysis of prices and deadlines, selection of materials, colors and textures for each position with supervision and arriving to the object as needed. Bringing samples and viewing them at the premises as well as paint testing.

Design project development
The development of a design project begins with getting to know the client, his lifestyle, needs and wishes, as well as the future space. A concept is being developed - several stylistic variants of furniture and decoration, layout variants, common collages, color solutions and ideas for the future interior are offered. Design project development also consists of presentation of the concept, 3D visualizations, room plans, technical drawings and tables.
Project realization (with supervision)
